Kelby graduated from Santa Clara in 2021 and majored in religious studies, philosophy, and business management. He credits all the academic support and encouragement he received from the Religious Studies Department, for his admission into Yale Divinity School to study philosophy of religion. Yale has offered Kelby a full tuition scholarship with stipend to earn his master’s while attending which he is hoping to use as a catalyst to get into PhD programs. 

Kelby has spent the past year as an aide at his local elementary school and worked as an after school mentor at his local YMCA’s kid’s after school program. Until he heads out for fall semester, he will be a kid’s summer camp mentor at his YMCA.
